A’s open registration for tickets to highly-anticipated games in West Sacramento
Are you a baseball fan, but you missed out on the opportunity to buy season tickets guaranteeing you a seat for some of the Sacramento region’s first MLB games?
The Athletics this week opened up registration to purchase a limited number of tickets for two of the most highly anticipated match-ups during their first of three seasons playing home games at West Sacramento’s Sutter Health Park.
Fans who register will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for the A’s home opener March 31 against the Chicago Cubs and for a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants from July 4-6. The A’s have said season tickets are sold out, and that single-game tickets would start to go on sale in late January.
“With a limited number of tickets available, the A’s want to ensure that as many fans as possible have a chance to attend these highly anticipated games,” the team said.
The registration ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Filling out the registration form does not guarantee the chance to purchase tickets, MLB said. If there are more ticket registrations than seats available, random drawings will be held.
The form is available online at mlb.com/athletics/tickets/ticket-opportunity.
The A’s are playing three seasons starting in 2025 at Sutter Health Park, home to the minor-league Sacramento River Cats. The team then plans to relocate in 2028 to a near permanent stadium in Las Vegas.
