What is Nothing Bundt Cakes?

Nothing Bundt Cakes is a Las Vegas-based dessert shop founded by two moms, Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz, who started baking goods in their home kitchens, the company’s website said.

The business began in 1997.

“Our bakeries have been more than just a place to get dessert,” Nothing Bundt Cakes said in its website. “We’re where you turn when you want to give a little more, so others can feel a little more. Where traditions are baked and joy is always on the menu.”

Nothing Bundt Cakes has more than 600 locations across the United States and Canada.

What’s on the menu at dessert shop chain?

Nothing Bundt Cakes’s menu has bundt cakes in different sizes, including 8 inches and 10 inches.

Nothing Bundt Cakes’ newest location will be in the Sunrise Village shopping center near Madison Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights.

The bakery took over a 2,030-square-foot vacant space at the plaza, according to real estate developer Merlone Grier.

“The lease was signed this month,” Merlone Grier vice president of leasing Soraya Sharifi-Slaughter said. “We’re very excited to add them to the tenant mix at Sunrise Village.”

Nothing Bundt Cakes will be next to a Little Caesars pizza restaurant and adjacent to VisionWorks, an optical retail store.

There will be a total of 17 tenants at the Sunrise Village with addition of Nothing Bundt Cakes.

The shopping plaza welcomed Amazon Fresh and Club Studio Fitness in 2024.

Sharifi-Slaughter said Juice Time, a fresh-squeezed juice and smoothie bar, recently signed a lease with Merlone Grier.
