Who’s playing at Thunder Valley in 2025? Casino announces ‘all-star’ concert lineup
Standup comedian Bert Kreischer, country star Dwight Yoakam, and classic rock band The Beach Boys are among the big-name acts coming to a popular Sacramento-area concert venue in 2025, organizers announced Tuesday.
“Thunder Valley Casino Resort is excited to announce an all-star entertainment lineup for 2025 at The Venue, featuring an eclectic mix of comedy, music and special events,” the venue said in a news release.
Artists performing at The Venue in March and April range from country singer Reba McEntire and heavy metal band Danzig to standup comedians Jim Gaffigan, Ron White and Jimmy O. Yang.

Where is Thunder Valley Casino Resort?
Thunder Valley Casino is at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln.
The casino is home to The Venue, a 150,000-square-foot entertainment venue with 4,500 seats that hosts “year-round musical acts, comedic performances and sporting events,” the release said.
Who’s playing at Sacramento-area concert venue in 2025?
On Tuesday, Thunder Valley Casino Resort added a total of six new events to its “star-studded 2025 lineup,” the release said.
They include performances by Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben, comedians Ralph Barbosa and Rene Vaca and soul music artists including Jeffrey Osborne, The Whispers, Cherrelle and D Train.

- Dwight Yoakam with The Mavericks: Saturday, July 19
- Super Soul Fest ’25: Saturday, Aug. 23
- Bert Kreischer: Thursday, Oct. 9
- The Beach Boys with Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone: Friday, Nov. 21
A number of those acts are returning to the Sacramento area, according to Sacramento Bee archives.
Yoakam previously performed at the California State Fair at Sacramento’s Cal Expo in 2016, while Kreischer took the stage at Sacramento Memorial Auditorium in 2021.
The Beach Boys took the Golden 1 Stage at the California State Fair in 2024.
How can I get show tickets?
Thunder Rewards members can purchase tickets in person at Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s Rewards Center Box Office starting at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 13.
Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 14, and can be purchased online at thundervalleyresort.com/entertainment or on-site at the Rewards Center Box Office.
