Angry Chickz to open third Sacramento-area restaurant. Here’s when and where
Craving Nashville-style hot chicken? Angry Chickz is opening its third location in the Sacramento area.
The restaurant will open its first Elk Grove location in June, according to the company.
“We’re excited to bring our craveable menu and unforgettable dining experience to Elk Grove — and to build real connections with the people who make this city special,” Angry Chickz CEO and founder David Mkhitaryan said in a June 4 news release.

What is Angry Chickz?
Headquartered in Sherman Oaks, Angry Chickz was founded in 2018, opening its first location in the Los Angeles East Hollywood neighborhood.
The popular restaurant chain specializes in Nashville-style fried chicken sandwiches, tenders and macaroni and cheese.
“Known for its craveable chicken, bold flavors and customizable heat levels, Angry Chickz is all about delivering flavor, fire, and community vibes in every meal,” the company said in the release.
The Elk Grove location will be Angry Chickz’s 27th location in California and its 30th across the United States.
Where is new Sacramento-area location?
Angry Chickz will open at 9624 Bruceville Road, Suite 102, at the Elk Grove Commons shopping center off Bruceville Road.
The restaurant is near a Verizon store and The Cookie Jar dessert shop.
When will Elk Grove restaurant open?
No official opening date had been set for Angry Chickz’s new Elk Grove restaurant as of Wednesday, June 11.
However, the company has hinted to a June grand opening date in several social media posts.
“It’s all going down this June,” Angry Chickz representatives wrote in a May 30 post on Instagram.
According to company representatives, the grand opening will feature raffles, exclusive merchandise and “a bunch of Free Angry Chickz for a Year giveaways.”
What’s on the menu at Angry Chickz? Sandwiches, bowls and more
Angry Chickz prides itself on serving “the best hot chicken with the best customer service,” the company said on its website.
The Angry Chickz menu features several sandwiches and bowls, all featuring the chain’s signature chicken tenders.
Diners can choose from six different spice levels ranging from “country” to “angry.” Customers who order the spiciest option are required to sign a waiver before eating their food.
In addition to sliders, the restaurant serves up three varieties of chicken-based bowls. Bowl options include fries topped with mac and cheese, rice, chicken tenders, coleslaw and secret sauce.
Side dishes include coleslaw, rice, macaroni and cheese and French fries.
In addition, Angry Chickz several drink options, including fountain soda and raspberry ice tea.
“Guests can expect generous portions, high-quality ingredients and a commitment to delivering heat and hospitality in every meal,” the company said in the release.
What are food and drink prices?
On the Angry Chickz online menu, customers can opt for combo meals or order a la carte.
Two chicken tenders served on bread with pickles and fries cost $13, while a combo meal with two hot chicken sliders with coleslaw, pickles and fries is $16.
Bowls cost $14 apiece, while prices for sides range from $4 to $7.
Drinks are served in 20-ounce cups and cost $2.50 each.

As of Wednesday, there were two Angry Chickz locations open in the Sacramento area.
