Strikes Unlimited bowling alley in Rocklin will soon become Lucky Strike
Strikes Unlimited in Rocklin will reopen as Lucky Strike, part of a national rebranding effort by its parent company, Bowlero Corp.
The bowling alley, located at 5681 Lonetree Blvd., announced the change in a Facebook post, describing the upcoming transformation as “an elevated entertainment destination.” The Sacramento Business Journal first reported the rebranding.
The venue features 50 bowling lanes, a sports bar, and an arcade, according to Bowlero’s website. The remodeled space will include black lights, lounge seating, life-size video walls at each lane, and lane-side food and drink service.
Bowlero also operates AMF Rocklin Lanes at 2325 Sierra Meadows Drive and another bowling alley on Madison Avenue in Sacramento.
Lucky Strike’s website encourages customers to book private events and corporate gatherings, promoting the revamped venue as a place for “birthdays, anniversaries, office outings, and celebrations of all kinds.”
The Rocklin site is among the latest in Bowlero’s push to expand the Lucky Strike brand. The company said in March that it had already rebranded five locations, with plans for 13 more this year.
Lucky Strike Entertainment owns more than 360 venues in North America, including Boomers Parks, Raging Waves and Shipwreck Island. The company acquired the Professional Bowlers Association in 2019.
“This transformation is about more than a name change,” founder and CEO Steven Foster Shannon said in a statement. “It’s about creating dynamic social destinations where exceptional service, thoughtfully crafted food and beverage menus, and a vibrant atmosphere come together to set a new industry standard.”
