Woman killed in Rancho Cordova crash identified by Sacramento Coroner’s Office
One person died in a single-vehicle crash in Rancho Cordova on Friday evening, law enforcement officials said.
The Rancho Cordova Police Department said in a social media post on X, formerly Twitter, around 9:40 p.m. that southbound Sunrise Boulevard near Gold Country Boulevard was closed due to a vehicle accident and warned drivers to use an alternate route.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Sgt. Amar Gandhi confirmed that an adult female died following a “solo vehicle crash into a tree.”
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Meagan Kathleen Danielski, 59, of Rancho Cordova.
