Can Stephen Curry regain his 2023 form and win the American Century celebrity golf tournament?
Fans turned out Friday to see the Golden State Warriors star, who won the tourney that year but skipped it in 2024 to train for the Olympics, who seemed likely to contend again amid a powerful lineup of current athletes, sports legends and other celebrities and entertainers.
The stars at the Edgewood Tahoe course in Stateline, Nevada, included NFL stars Travis Kelce and his brother Jason (but no sign of Travis”s girlfriend Taylor Swift), current and former 49ers greats George Kittle and Jerry Rice, and dozens of others. A complete list can be found at the event website.
The tournament continues Saturday and concludes Sunday.
