Missing person found

Three members of a Rocklin family were found safe after being reported missing when they did not show up to a camping meetup in Northern California.

The Rocklin Police Department said in a social media post Saturday morning it was investigating a missing persons case after a man, a woman and a 12-year-old child did not arrive at a Sierra County campground where they were supposed to meet up with family.

Police in an update just after 11 a.m. said the family had been safely located.
