Aftershock 2025 set times announced — search when your favorite band’s on stage

Set times were announced Friday for Aftershock 2025, coming to Sacramento’s Discovery Park in October.

The four-day hard rock and metal festival, billed as the largest of its kind on the West Coast — featuring headliners Blink-182, Korn, Bring Me the Horizon and Sacramento’s Deftones — is set for Oct. 2-5.

Gates open 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, with a packed slate of acts on the festival’s Jack Daniel’s, Coors Light, DWPresents and Shockwave stages.

Opening the festival Oct. 2 are Dry Kill Logic at 11:10 a.m. on the Coors Light Stage and Hot Milk on the Shockwave Stage. Thirty minutes later, The Ataris and Left to Suffer open sets on the Jack Daniel’s Stage and DWPresents Stage.

First day highlights include Testament at 7:15 p.m., and set closer Acid Bath at 9:10 p.m., on the Coors Light Stage. Headliner Hatebreed takes the stage in a closing 8:30 p.m. show on the DWPresents Stage. Good Charlotte closes out the Shockwave Stage with a 7:25 p.m. set; and festival headliner Blink-182 at 8:30 p.m. on the Jack Daniel’s Stage.

The music returns for a full day Friday, Oct. 3, kicked off with 11:30 a.m. shows by Quannic on the Jack Daniel’s Stage; and 156/Silence on the DWPresents Stage. Noon shows by Forbidden and Winds of Plague open Friday’s setlist at the Coors Light and Shockwave stages.

Highlights are many Friday with a cross-generational bill on the Coors Light Stage that features speed-metal maven Yngvie Malmsteen (3:55 p.m.); Exodus (7:15 p.m.); and a closing 9:55 p.m. set by progressive rock titans Dream Theater. The Jack Daniel’s Stage features The Dillinger Escape Plan at 3:55 p.m.; and a closing set at 9:55 p.m. by hometown heroes Deftones.

On the Shockwave Stage, legendary Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson is on at 4:40 p.m., the first of a closing three-pack of Lamb of God at 6:10 p.m.; and set closer A Perfect Circle at 8:10 p.m.

DWPresents Stage set closer Chiodos takes the stage at 7:05 p.m.

Saturday’s music begins 11:25 a.m. with Spy on the DWPresents Stage. Sunami closes out the night at DWPresents at 7:15 p.m. Elsewhere, August Burns Red (6:30 p.m.); DragonForce (7:40 p.m.) and Powerwolf (8:50 p.m.), close out the night on the Coors Light Stage.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids opens the Shockwave Stage Saturday with an 11:55 a.m. set, highlighted by Three Days Grace at 6:20 p.m., and Shockwave set closer Bad Omens at 8:20 p.m.

On the Jack Daniel’s Stage Saturday, Oct. 4, Saliva’s 1:30 p.m. set is followed at 5:30 p.m by aught-rockers Chevelle, French sensation Gojira at 7:15 p.m.; and Korn closing the night at 9:25 p.m.

Aftershock’s final day is Oct. 5.

Prong opens the festival’s closing day with an 11:35 a.m. set at DWPresents Stage. Five Headed Cobra opens the Coors Light Stage at 11:45 a.m. Headliners Flyleaf with Lacey Sturm close out Coors Light’s night at 7:45 p.m.

Shockwave Stage features Static-X at 1:35 p.m., and Mudvayne at 5:35 p.m. Closing act Rob Zombie takes the stage at 7:35 p.m.

Sleep Theory opens the day at 11:55 a.m. on the Jack Daniel’s Stage. The evening at Jack Daniel’s closes out with a 6:40 p.m. set by Marilyn Manson; and Aftershock headliners Bring Me the Horizon, closing out the festival at 8:30 p.m.
