Another ‘extreme value’ discount store is opening in Sacramento. When & where
A popular retail chain known for its “wide assortment of extreme value products” is opening another location in the Sacramento area.
Five Below will soon celebrate the grand opening of its Woodland location, the company announced in a Wednesday, Oct. 8, news release.
It’s the latest Five Below store to open in the Sacramento region in recent months.

Meanwhile, dozens of 99 Cents Only stores across California have reopened as Dollar Tree stores, including locations in Arden-Arcade, Citrus Heights and South Sacramento.

What is Five Below?
Founded in 2022, Five Below describes itself as a “high-growth value retailer offering trend-right, high-quality products loved by tweens, teens and beyond.”
The Philadelphia-based discount retailer sells everything from clothing and accessories to beauty products, home decor and pet supplies, with prices for most items ranging from $1 to $5.
There’s also a Five Beyond brand with pricier electronics, toys, games and more.
The new Five Below store in Woodville will include a Party Shop featuring “a large variety of helium balloons, décor and favors,” the release said.
Five Below operates more than 1,800 stores in 44 states, including about 150 locations in California, according to ScrapeHero.
Where is new Five Below location in Sacramento area?
Five Below’s newest Sacramento-area location is at 1386 East Main St. off Interstate 5 in Woodland, according to the company’s website.
The space at the Woodland Crossroads shopping center previously housed Party City.
“Five Below ... welcomes customers to experience all the fun, amazing value and trendy products,” the retailer said.
When is grand opening for Woodland store?
Five Below will officially open its doors in Woodland on Friday, Oct. 10.
“To celebrate the grand opening, the store will host a festive weekend filled with fun, music, kids’ activities, and special prizes,” the retailer said in the release.
The first 100 customers in line on Saturday, Oct. 11, will get $10 gift cards, Five Below said.
What are open hours at Five Below?
Starting Friday, Five Below in Woodland will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, according to the release.
