Front Street seeking man who pepper-sprayed dogs through North Sacramento fence

Front Street Animal Shelter officials are asking for the public’s help to identify a person caught on video pepper spraying two dogs through the fence of their North Sacramento home.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 1 near El Camino Avenue and Del Paso Boulevard, according to the shelter. In a Facebook post, officials said a security camera recorded the man spraying the dogs in their faces while they were secured in their yard.

Anyone with information is asked to call 311 and reference activity number A25-554251. Callers may remain anonymous or leave a name and phone number for follow-up.
