Will New Year’s delay garbage pickup in Sacramento?
Although Sacramento’s City Hall will be closed on New Year’s Day, trash will be picked up on Thursday, Jan. 1, as usual.
“Regular residential garbage, organic waste and recycling collection service will occur on holidays,” the city of Sacramento said on its website.
Will garbage collection be delayed in Sacramento County?
People living in unincorporated areas of Sacramento County won’t see their regularly scheduled trash pickup affected by New Year’s Day, according to the county Department of Waste Management and Recycling.
