Deputies locate 28-year-old autistic man who went missing in south Sacramento

Missing person found

A 28-year-old south Sacramento man who was reported missing Sunday has been found, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said he was located around 9 p.m. Monday.

The man had last been seen leaving a residence in the 7600 block of Harmony Oaks Way in the Vineyard neighborhood on foot around noon Sunday, wearing a red hoodie and black jeans.

Officials had considered him at risk because he is autistic.
