Toddler hit by vehicle in Sacramento County, rushed to hospital
A 15-month-old child was struck by a vehicle Monday in the parking lot of a Sacramento County apartment complex, according to Angie Monroe, a public information officer for the California Highway Patrol.
The child’s condition was not known as of early Monday afternoon. But Monroe said they were rushed to a local hospital after receiving CPR.
Monroe said the child’s father was standing nearby when the collision occurred around midday Monday.
The driver of the vehicle did not see the child while they were pulling into the complex at the 9100 block of Tuolumne Drive in the La Riviera neighborhood. Monroe said the person was not immediately taken into custody.
