Roadway fatality

An Elverta man riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was killed after his motorcycle collided with a Hyundai that was turning at an Antelope intersection Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as David James Noble, 25.

The crash occurred about 3:30 a.m. at the intersection of Elverta Road and Northam Drive in Antelope, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol’s North Sacramento office said.

The driver of the Hyundai was taken to a hospital after the crash, the spokesperson said.

CHP officers said a preliminary investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling through the intersection when it crashed into the Hyundai, which was turning onto Elverta Road.

Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash, the spokesperson said.

Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the CHP’s North Sacramento office at 916-348-2300.
