Good morning. Here’s what you need to know today:

Sunny Sunday: If you liked Saturday’s warm weather, you’ll also enjoy today’s. The unseasonably high temperatures in the Sacramento region will continue to stick around, according to the National Weather Service. Downtown Sacramento will hit 77 degrees today, about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year, said Robert Baruffaldi, a weather service forecaster.

Public Eye – A Sacramento Bee investigation: As the population ages and more families face the daunting task of choosing long-term care, consumers remain largely in the dark about the ownership of many California nursing homes – and their track records. Yet knowing who owns what can be critical for fragile patients seeking long-term care, according to the first of a three-part Sacramento Bee investigation, which analyzed thousands of federal and state records detailing the ownership of the state’s 1,260 nursing homes.

Most expensive home?: A home listed for sale this week in the Sierra Oaks Vista neighborhood could be the priciest ever sold in Sacramento County if it fetches anywhere near its $6.5 million asking price.
