Fire grows to 1,000 acres near Rancho Murieta
Firefighters are at the scene of a wildland fire in the Rancho Murieta area.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday, Cal Fire tweeted that the Latrobe Fire was 40 percent contained and had burned 1,000 acres. The location was initially reported off Latrobe Road, south of Scott Road, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.
