Suspect identified in hit-and-run death of woman running in South Natomas
Tyler Rumberger, 22, has been identified by Sacramento police as the man arrested in the hit-and-run death of a woman who was running during her lunch hour in South Natomas on Tuesday.
Rumberger turned himself in Thursday afternoon, according to police. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of manslaughter and hit-and-run driving.
Ericka Jennifer Hann, 47, 0f Orangevale was struck about 11:44 a.m. Tuesday while crossing Grasslands Drive at West El Camino Avenue. A white, slightly raised pickup truck with a camper shell and loud exhaust was headed south on Grasslands Drive when it turned onto West El Camino Avenue and hit Hann, according to Lt. Paul Freeman, a Police Department spokesman.
