Homeless man who attacked McDonald’s employee in Roseville identified by police

The homeless man who was arrested on Tuesday for cutting a McDonald’s employee with a butter knife in Roseville has been identified, according to the Roseville Police Department.

Police say Alan Curtis Phifer attacked the employee during an altercation in the 1100 block of Cirby Way around 7:50 a.m. Tuesday.

The employee suffered superficial wounds and no life-threatening injuries.

Phifer, 37, faces several charges, including assault, and is being held at the South Placer Jail.
