More than a dozen vehicles broken into in South Natomas, Sacramento Police say

The Sacramento Police Department is investigating after about 15 vehicles were burglarized in South Natomas earlier this week.

Spokesman Officer Karl Chan said police responded around 7:20 a.m. Monday to a single report of an overnight vehicle break-in, but arriving officers “located approximately 15 vehicles that had been broken into,” at least some of them burglarized.

The burglaries happened near the 2200 block of Glenrio Way, according to the Police Department’s daily activity log.

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made and no suspect description is available, Chan said.

Police canvassed the area in an effort to locate surveillance video.

“The investigation is ongoing,” Chan said.
