15 detained after Roseville SWAT, police serve warrant at alleged drug house
The Roseville Police Department says 15 people have been detained after a search warrant was served Thursday morning at a “nuisance house” flagged for frequent drug-related calls.
Roseville and Rocklin SWAT officers, with assistance from the Sacramento Police Department, served the warrant in the 6000 block of Maple Creek Drive, the Roseville Police Department said in a Facebook post shortly before 9:45 a.m.
“The property was flagged as a nuisance house with possible drug activity,” the social media post said. “In the past year there were approximately 25 calls for service reported from the residence.”
While investigating, officers identified that some of the suspects at the home had been wanted in connection with a Sacramento armed robbery. One of these suspects fled from the residence, jumping fences in an effort to escape, but was detained during a perimeter search, the Roseville Police Department said.
Police said a total of 15 people were detained at the house as of late Thursday morning, and that authorities would remain at the scene for several hours to search the home, question the detainees and continue to investigate.
