Woodland men arrested after raids uncover guns and drugs, Yolo County authorities say

Authorities in Yolo County said they arrested three men Thursday while conducting a series of raids that uncovered guns, drugs and money.

The operation was carried out by officers assigned to the Yolo County Gang Task Force, as well as detectives from the Woodland Police Department and Yolo County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities served search warrants in multiple locations, where they found guns, gun parts, ammunition, gang indicia, drugs, drug paraphernalia and money, police said.

According to authorities, Angel Lopez, 20, of Woodland was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, possession of a handgun and gang charges.

Ernie Martinez, 21, of Woodland was arrested on suspicion of drug possession, drug sales and gang charges, police said.

Luis Aguilar, 23, of Woodland was arrested for drug sales, authorities said.
