Golf carts stolen from Sacramento State. Campus police seek help to find the suspects

Multiple golf carts have recently been stolen from Sacramento State, according to campus police.

In a news release, the Police Department said that golf carts have been stolen from Modoc Hall, Napa Hall, athletics facilities and the Well.

Two suspects were seen on security footage. Both men were spotted wearing dark-colored clothing while riding in the carts.

Police investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the serial thefts to call 916-278-6000.

Department officials said that golf cart and other vehicle thefts can potentially be prevented by removing keys from the ignition, by not leaving it running and not keeping spare keys in the vehicle.
