UC Davis police arrest two men suspected in robbery at West Village apartment
UC Davis Police Department arrested two men suspected of committing a robbery last week at a campus neighborhood apartment.
The robbery was reported at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday at the apartment in the West Village Neighborhood, according to a news release from the University of California, Davis.
UC Davis police responded to investigate the robbery. Campus police worked with the Vacaville and Davis police departments in the investigation.
The joint investigation led police to identify two suspects in the robbery, Mason Allen John, 23, and Antonio Juan Del Castillo, 26, UC Davis officials said. The two men were later found and arrested in Vacaville and in Davis.
UC Davis officials said the suspects and the robbery victim were not affiliated with the university. The suspects were booked on multiple felony charges at the Yolo County Jail.
