Sacramento firefighters find one person dead in Mack Road mobile home fire

A person was found dead Wednesday after a fire burned a mobile home in Sacramento’s Parkway neighborhood, fire officials said.

The fire occurred in the 3900 block of Mack Road near Brookfield Drive. About 12:30 p.m., the Sacramento Fire Department announced on social media that firefighters were at the scene and launching an attack on the fire.

The Fire Department later announced that firefighters had extinguished the flames and found one person in the bedroom of the mobile home. Firefighters determined the person was dead.

Fire officials said the incident was under investigation.
