Police tape at crime scene

A woman was hospitalized and a man grazed by gunfire in a shooting early Friday morning in the Old North Sacramento neighborhood, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 12:40 a.m. near Acoma Street and Arden Way, Sacramento Police Department spokesman Officer Ryan Woo said.

A woman with a gunshot injury was taken to a hospital, “last reported to be in stable condition,” Woo said. Another victim, a man, “appeared to have sustained a graze wound.”

No arrests have been made, and the circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation, Woo said.
