3 killed as Sacramento police investigate homicides in Natomas, North Sacramento

Sacramento police Tuesday are investigating three homicides in two incidents that happened around the same time Monday in the Natomas and North Sacramento neighborhoods.

Detectives were on scene of a shooting at an apartment complex on San Juan Avenue and Azevedo Drive in South Natomas where two people were found shot to death inside a vehicle, according to police.

Separately, police were investigating a homicide in the area of Eleanor Avenue and Arcade Boulevard in the Strawberry Manor section of North Sacramento where one person was killed.

Police said in a social media post that the homicides occurred about 11 p.m. Monday.

A third homicide scene was under investigation Tuesday morning in the Oak Park section of the city, police said.
