Homicide suspected after man is shot dead at south Sacramento apartments, sheriff says
Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man late Friday night at a south Sacramento apartment complex as a possible homicide.
The Sheriff’s Office in a social media post Saturday said the shooting took place at a complex near the 3900 block of 48th Avenue in the unincorporated Lemon Hill neighborhood just before midnight and that deputies responded to the scene.
Sheriff’s officials in the post said the shooting was “possibly gang related.”
No other details were immediately available.
