A teenage boy was hospitalized Tuesday after a shooting in Sacramento’s South Hagginwood neighborhood, police said.

Officers were alerted just before 5:45 p.m. to a shooting in the 2800 block of Rio Linda Boulevard in the neighborhood, said Officer Anthony Gamble, a spokesperson with the Sacramento Police Department.

The teen suffered at least one gunshot wound in front of a house and was taken to a hospital.

He was in stable condition, Gamble said. The investigation is ongoing.
