A 911 caller led officers to a Rancho Cordova man arrested as a suspect in a series of indecent exposure incidents involving minors over the past few weeks in Folsom.

Luis Alonso Hernandez, 46, was arrested Saturday and booked at the Sacramento County Main Jail. He remained in custody Tuesday with his bail amount set at $115,000. Hernandez appeared for his arraignment Tuesday afternoon in Sacramento Superior Court.

Jail records show Hernandez faces two counts of indecent exposure in a public place, two counts disorderly conduct to solicit for lewd acts and one count of annoying or molesting a child. Hernandez’s charges are all misdemeanors.

The first incident occurred Jan. 15 on the 200 block of Natoma Station Drive, where a male in a white Honda drove next to two minors walking in the area and exposed himself, the Folsom Police Department said Tuesday in a news release announcing Hernandez’s arrest. The minors ran away. Police said incident was captured on security camera video.

The second incident occurred Jan. 25 on the 1100 block of Duchow Way, where two minors at a playground spotted a male standing next to a white Honda in a nearby alley. Police said the minors saw the male expose himself while staring at them before he got into his vehicle and drove away. This incident also was captured on security camera video.

Detectives investigating the incident linked the white vehicle to a known suspect and continued to look for that suspect, according to the Police Department.

The third incident occurred Saturday on the 1100 block of Sibley Street, where another minor spotted a male drive by in an apartment complex. Police said the minor saw a male staring at them while exposing and touching himself. The male suspect then drove away in a white Honda.

Shortly after Sibley Street incident was reported, police received another report in the 1100 block of Duchow Way. There, a woman resident reportedly saw a male driving a white Honda nearby.

Police said the woman saw what she believed was the man touching himself inappropriately. She then called 911.

Officers responding to the 911 call found the suspect, later identified as Hernandez, behind a nearby business in the 500 block of East Bidwell Street. Police said Hernandez was linked to the previous indecent exposure incidents in which he was driving a 2022 white Honda Civic.

Investigators asked anyone else who might have been victimized similarly to call Folsom police at 916-355-7231.
