Man and teen arrested after police find Sacramento stabbing victim in critical condition

Two suspects have been arrested after a stabbing Friday evening in Sacramento that left a man seriously injured, police said.

Police arrested a 34-year-old Benicia man and a 14-year-old boy on felony assault charges in relation to the stabbing that left a man in critical condition, according to Sacramento Police Department spokesperson Anthony Gamble.

The stabbing was reported after 7:45 p.m. Friday in the 8300 block of Folsom Boulevard, where officers found the victim with at least one stab wound, Gamble said.

He was taken to an area hospital for surgery and remained in critical condition as of Saturday morning, Gamble said.
