Police investigating shooting that killed man in North Sacramento

A man was fatally shot early Wednesday in North Sacramento, and police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect.

Sacramento police officers responded just after 3:15 a.m. to reports of a shooting near Western and El Camino avenues in the Noralto neighborhood, the Sacramento Police Department said. They found an adult man with at least one gunshot wound who was pronounced dead by firefighters.

No suspect information was available, authorities said.
