A juvenile suspect was arrested Wednesday in Marysville after deputies found an AR-15 rifle with a drum magazine and no serial number among other weapons during a search.

Deputies along with the rifle found two loaded handguns and ammunition when they searched a home in the 5900 block of Park Avenue in Marysville, the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department said in a Thursday news release.

The suspect was described as a “validated criminal street gang member” and has been booked into juvenile hall on multiple weapon violations.

Sheriff’s officials are not releasing the suspect’s name because they are a minor.
