No injuries as Sacramento County deputies seek suspected road rage shooter

Sacramento County Ssheriff’s deputies are looking for a car connected to a suspected road rage shooting early Monday in the area of Garfield Avenue and Winding Way in Carmichael.

The shots came from a gray Dodge Charger just before 7 a.m. Sheriff’s officials said a caller told dispatchers they were fired upon after yelling at the Dodge’s driver for throwing trash onto the roadway.

The caller was not hurt and described the alleged shooter as the car’s passenger, possibly 14 to 16 years old. A woman believed to be in her 40s was behind the wheel, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
