Police tape at crime scene

A 17-year-old was stabbed during a fight on the top floor of a Roseville parking garage early Monday, according to the Roseville Police Department.

About 1 a.m., officers were dispatched to the Oak Street parking garage downtown for a fight involving 10 to 15 people and a reported stabbing, according to Sgt. Nick Gaines, a spokesperson for the agency. The victim, who had multiple stab wounds, was transported to a hospital and was listed in stable condition, Gaines said.

While investigating the stabbing, police identified the suspect as Levi Cole, 24, who was also transported to the hospital for injuries suffered during the melee, Gaines said. He was later booked into the South Placer Jail on charges of attempted murder and was being held without bail.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to Gaines.
