3 juveniles arrested after threat made at Roseville High School, police say
Three juveniles were arrested after a school threat Tuesday involving Roseville High School, according to Roseville police.
Details about the nature of the threat to the school at 1 Tiger Way and how the three were connected to the unknown incident had yet to be shared publicly. Authorities said they expected to provide more information later Thursday.
Lt. Nick Gaines, a spokesperson for the Roseville Police Department, said one of those arrested was a Roseville High School student.
“While arrests have been made involving juveniles associated with the incident, the investigation is still active and ongoing,” Gaines said in a statement to reporters.
A spokesperson for the Roseville Joint Union High School District said Thursday that the “threat has been addressed” and that school and district officials are working with police on the investigation.
“RHS Administration and the District Safety Team, in collaboration with the Roseville Police Department, utilized the Behavioral Threat Assessment process to quickly address a reported threat to the campus,” spokesperson Tony Phan said. “This collaborative process led to an arrest at Roseville High School and ensured the situation was resolved.”
