At least 1 person shot in south Sacramento, Sheriff’s Office says. 2 hospitalized

At least one person was shot in south Sacramento Sunday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies responded to a call of shots fired in the 5800 block of Dewey Boulevard, located south of Fruitridge Road and west of Stockton Boulevard, a spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office said.

At least one person was suspected to have suffered a gunshot wound and two people were transported to the hospital “in unknown condition,” the spokesperson said.
