A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle last week in hit-and-run in Sacramento has since succumbed to his injuries, police announced Tuesday.

The hit-and-run that seriously injured the pedestrian was reported shortly after 7:45 a.m. in the 3400 block of Ramona Avenue, just west of Power Inn Road in the Ramona Village neighborhood.
