Carmichael homicide victims identified
The woman and man found dead in a Carmichael home last week with gunshot wounds have been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The homicide victims have been identified as Breeze Hubbard, 37, and Jon Colbert, 49, both of Carmichael.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District firefighters requested that Sacramento County Sheriff’s deputies respond to a residence in the 5200 block of Kenneth Avenue at about 7:15 a.m. Friday for a report of a man who was not breathing in the home.
Deputies arrived and found the bodies of Hubbard and Colbert.
The case is being investigated as a double homicide. The official cause of death has not been determined, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
Detectives are investigating a motive for the homicides. No suspects have been arrested.
