Yolo County sheriff’s detectives are investigating a homicide south of Clarksburg, a department spokesman said Monday.
Deputies found the body of the man in a slough near Jefferson Boulevard and Courtland Road shortly before shortly before 11:30 a.m. Saturday. A fisherman initially saw the body, authorities said.
Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. Matt Davis said the case and possible motives are under investigation. There was no immediate word on the cause of the death or how long the victim had been in the slough. The identity of the man was being withheld until family members could be notified.
