Two people playing with a toy gun were shot in the “upper torso” by a person driving by, Texas police said.

A 17-year-old and 19-year-old had been driving around with three other friends shooting at each other with an Orbeez toy gun, according to San Antonio police. The toy guns shoot water gels that burst on impact.

As they were making their way out of the area at 8 p.m. on May 20, a person drove by and shot at their car with a firearm, police said.

The two victims were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, according to police.

Police said they have not identified the suspect and are continuing to investigate.
