Ever wanted to see the speed of light in a furry form? Well, one Kentucky shelter has the perfect pup for you.

Meet Jim, a spry 1-year-old boy who is “the equivalent of a teenager in a dog,” the Kentucky Humane Society says. Sure, his age has a lot to do with his spunky attitude, but it also may stem from his combination of so many intelligent breeds.

Jim may look like a teddy bear, but he’s all working dog! His DNA consists of Australian Cattle Dog, Beagle, Chow Chow, Border Collie AND Collie genes, making him a herding extraordinaire,” the Kentucky Humane Society said in a July 29 Facebook post.

That’s a lot of cerebral activity in one package.

“Jim would do great in a home with other dogs, so long as those dogs don’t mind when he methodically moves them to wherever he deems fit,” the post continued. “He’s an opinionated guy, and isn’t afraid to let you know when it’s time to relocate!”

Sure, he might think his playmates are sheep, but at least he’s friendly about it.

“His friends don’t seem to mind though and he absolutely loves playing with other dogs. He would do great in a home with other friendly dogs to wear him out. Jim is a super friendly guy but likes his opinions to be known ,” his profile says.

“He will remind you with a nice big bork that you didn’t really want to eat that whole egg Mcmuffin and he will take the remainder off your hands.”

Some of his favorite activities, per his profile, include:

  • Interior decorating (How did those pillows get there, Jim?)

  • Ripping up cardboard boxes

  • Showing off his toys

  • Borking

  • Being sassy

As for cats?

“Jim has lived with cats and although he’s interested, he exercises extreme caution around them as he’s found some to be very poky,” his profile warns.

This pup would do best in a household where the humans are fully grown so he can learn from them, the Facebook post recommends.

“Jim contains multitudes and simply can’t be wrapped up in a single post!” the Facebook post said.
