Gambler sitting on couch plays online slot game, hits jackpot with 80-cent bet in NJ

A gambler was playing an online slot game from the comfort of his couch when won a big jackpot in New Jersey.

Now, he’s $136,824.50 richer.

The man from Cherry Hill was playing White Hat Studios’ Ted Jackpot Royale, according to Hard Rock Bet, an online betting platform.

He had downloaded the app earlier that day and got to gambling as a horror movie played in the background, the business said.

At one point, he bet 80 cents on the slot game, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.

He has plans to use his prize money on “outdoor entertainment,” the business said.

Cherry Hill is a township and suburb east of Philadelphia.
