A woman won a slot machine jackpot so big it left her “in shock” at a New Mexico casino.

Now, she’s a $1,032,690.65 richer.

The lucky gambler sat at a Buffalo Wild Extreme slot machine on Nov. 16 at the Ohkay Hotel Casino, the hotel said in a news release.

She wagered $3.75, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

Then a jackpot message appeared saying she was a millionaire winner.

“The young lady, she was ecstatic. She was in shock, super thrilled,” the casino’s director of marketing, Peter Trujillo, told The Santa Fe New Mexican. “I think she was still in disbelief, honestly.”

Ohkay Hotel Casino is in Ohkay Owingeh, a census-designated place that’s about a 30-mile drive north from Santa Fe.

Many people can gamble or play games of chance without harm. However, for some, gambling is an addiction that can ruin lives and families.

If you or a loved one shows signs of gambling addiction, you can seek help by calling the national gambling hotline at 1-800-522-4700 or visiting the National Council on Problem Gambling website.
