Free lottery ticket leads to jackpot win at Florida Publix. Where was it sold?
A free Fantasy 5 ticket led to a huge jackpot win for a lucky Florida Lottery player.
The ticket, sold at a Publix supermarket in St. Petersburg, matched five numbers in the evening drawing April 12 to win a whopping $127,972.65, the Florida Lottery said.
The winner played the Quick Pick option and beat odds of 1 in 376,992 to snag the top prize, per the lottery’s website.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday evening were 11-25-28-31-32, results show.
The ticket remained unclaimed as of early Monday, April 14, the lottery said.
Another Fantasy 5 player hit the jackpot, winning $59,206.59 in Saturday’s midday drawing, according to the Florida Lottery. That ticket was sold at a Shell gas station in Orlando.
Winners in Florida have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes, according to the lottery’s website. Players are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket.
