Another chance to see Michelle Obama at Golden 1 in Sacramento: What you need to know

If you’re still trying to get tickets to see Michelle Obama in Sacramento, you have another chance.

The downtown Golden 1 Center on Thursday announced a second show with the former first lady after tickets for the first show have nearly sold out. The second moderated Q&A with Obama will take place Wednesday, April 1 at 3 p.m., several hours ahead of the previously announced 8 p.m. show.

The two events at Golden 1 are part of Obama’s book tour for her autobiography “Becoming.”

Ticket pre-sales for the second show will start Monday, Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. through golden1center.com. General ticket sales will start Feb. 5 at 10 a.m. Some “VIP” tickets that include an opportunity to meet Obama will also be available.

As of Thursday morning, only three seats were shown as available for the 8 p.m. show on the Golden 1 Center’s website.

Moderators for the events have not yet been announced.
