Your return-to-office questions answered live by our state worker reporter
Outgoing California Gov. Gavin Newsom recently ordered state workers to head back to the office, primarily in person, starting on July 1.
The order has been met with staunch opposition from state workers, from caravans, to billboards, the order has many people wondering: why now and what comes next?
Luckily that’s where The Sacramento Bee comes in. Our state worker reporter, William Melhado, will be answering all of your “return to office” questions live in a Zoom webinar on June 25 at noon.
Bring all your questions, concerns and thoughts and have them answered by Melhado, who covers issues that directly impact state workers, and he’ll delve into how the order came to be and what’s next for those expected to head back to the office in the coming weeks.
The event is free. Sign up for the webinar here.
After you sign up, you’ll get a confirmation email from California Engagement and Retention editor Samantha Sullivan that will include a Zoom webinar link. This email also will include a button to add the webinar to your digital calendar. On the day of the event, you will also receive a reminder email an hour beforehand.
You may submit questions prior to the webinar here. You will also be able to ask any last minute questions directly in the Q&A function during the Zoom.
