Hail turns city white - and Sacramentans flood social media with photos, videos
From the Capitol to the Interstate 80 and Highway 50 corridors, residents were shocked as the landscape was blanketed in white amid a storm Monday afternoon.
The city and surrounding areas were seemingly transformed into a winter wonderland - not due to snow, but hail.
"Looking like snow!" wrote Twitter user @g3rck.
"That’s not snow... crazy hail in West Sacramento!" commented @ThatChrisNelson on Twitter.
