River Cats: El Paso rally not enough in 5-4 victory
The River Cats lost a no-hit bid in the eighth inning and nearly blew a five-run lead in a 5-4 win over the El Paso Chihuahuas on Monday night at Raley Field. River Cats starter Nik Turley had a perfect game through five innings, striking out eight. He walked two in the sixth and was removed after 99 pitches.
