FIFA World Cup 2026: where to watch on TV, online if you live in Sacramento area
The first month of the longest FIFA World Cup is coming to a close with matches scheduled until July 19.
As the worldwide soccer tournament passes the halfway mark, 31 out of 104 matches remain. Monday, the tournament continues with six countries facing off throughout the day: Brazil vs. Japan, Germany vs. Paraguay and the Netherlands vs. Morocco.
The United States team plays Bosnia and Herzegovina at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, in the only “round of 32” game taking place in Northern California.

Where to watch on TV
Two television networks within the U.S. are broadcasting the World Cup with English commentary: Fox Sports and Fox Sports 1 on cable. For Spanish language commentary, World Cup fans can tune into Telemundo and Universo, NBC’s Spanish-language cable channel.
To watch Fox’s coverage in Sacramento, fans can also tune into local affiliate FOX40, KTXL for certain games.
Channel numbers vary based on your service provider and in which service region you live.
Where to watch on streaming
For streaming services showing the World Cup, some require a paid subscription, while others are offering a free trial for the first month of service.
Fox Sports
For games not available on the main Fox broadcast, fans can watch streams on FS1 with a subscription. The service costs $19.99 a month.
Fubo
Fubo is a live-streaming service with access to more than 100 channels, according its website. Because Fubo has access to most major networks, including Fox Sports, soccer fans can catch the World Cup.
Fubo Sports’s subscription is $54.99 a month after a free one-month trial.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV’s base plan includes every World Cup match, according to its website. Like Fubo, YouTube TV offers a free trial for the first month of service. Currently, YouTube TV is offering a discounted subscription rate of $67.99 for the first three months of service.
Peacock
NBC’s Peacock app. Peacock Premium Plus costs $11 per month. It is providing access to select Universo-hosted matches.
